• The Ecossentials Journey • ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
》I often get asked why I do what I do or what made me follow my dream. So, let's break it down! For being entrepreneurial, that was always in me. Besides studying, I've participated in various extra activities and I always dreamed of my own business. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
》For finding my perfect passion project, I had to wait until I visited Tunisia, my second country, again three years ago. I was shocked by the massive pollution there and it was in that moment, I realized I wanted to do better myself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
》But starting with a more sustainable lifestyle wasn't and still isn't that easy. I used to online shop a lot, throw away food, avoid #tapwater and #overconsume. Changing those habits isn't impossible, but I would be lying if i'd say it doesn't take time and patience. Even though it's a hot topic today, living #sustainably then wasn't made very attractive (to me). That's why I started this journey, to help others like me find their way towards a more #ecological lifestyle at their own pace. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
》There's no such thing as perfection and that also applies to more sustainable living. I want to ecourage all of you to be proud of the small steps you're already taking. Be proud if you're vegan, but drink out of plastic bottles. Be proud if you're living #plasticfree, but travel by plane. Be proud if you're doing what you can and what feels good to YOU - 'cause that's what matters the most. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
》I really aim to be a total concept where I like to inspire, inform & activate as much people as possible. I've spent one year doing research about how to be a fully sustainable business, so customers don't need to worry about the real ecological impact of their order. I want to show large companies that if a single student can minimize its supply chain with few resources, they can too. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌱 So, that's my story of how I got here (shortly). I hope I can create value for all of you with Ecossentials and let's rock living sustainably together! Picture by Thomas Legrève for @flairbel

• No-Bake Vegan Nutella Cake • ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
》One of my tastiest recipes! An indulgent chocolate cake that tastes like nutella but is #dairyfree, #vegan, #glutenfree, #oilfree and refined sugar-free. So indulge yourself without any guilt (you always should)! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
》The leftovers taste so so good. You can store them in the freezer for 2-3 days, but if you want the leftovers to last even longer, just frost the portion of the cake you plan to eat in the next few days. The unfrosted cake will stay good in your freezer for a month or two! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

• JUICE CLEANSE • ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
》I'm thrilled to introduce you to the latest #plasticfree & #vegan skincare addition! This amazing juice cleanse from @wearelani smells like a tropical fruit cocktail and works wonders on your complexion. It even removes waterproof make-up and leaves your skin feeling incredibly soft. I've been testing it for a while now and I'm hooked! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
》It's suitable for all skintypes, even oily or sensitive skin like mine. Often oily skin produces more oil as a defence mechanism to bring skin back into balance. Like attracts like, so when you apply more oil like this cleanse, it will help dissolve impurities, toxins and make-up without stripping the skin of its natural moisture barrier. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌱 You can use it even when you don't apply make-up since it also removes dead cells, moistures your skin and restores your complexion after a busy day. It comes with an #organic bamboo cloth you can use to wipe away the oil after applying! Tap to discover! Any thoughts? #ecossentials

• DIY MAKE-UP REMOVER • ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
》My first #diy recipe! A lot of you asked me how to make your own make-up remover, so I listened and perfected this recipe over the last weeks. Since I have a very sensitive skin myself, it was scary to try but I'm very happy with the result! Although I stock cleansers on the shop, I wanted to give you the chance to make your own, being extra #lowwaste and all that 😉⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
》This super simple recipe creates an effective yet moisturizing remover for all skintypes. Oils work true wonders when trying to get your make-up off (even mascara & eyeliner), but this recipe also nourishes your skin and gives it an extra glow! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
》Ingredients: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 3 tablespoons of witch hazel
- 2 tablespoons of sweet almond oil or coconut oil (up to you!)
- 1 tablespoon of vitamin E oil (for preservation)
- 2 drops of essential oils for fragrance (if desired and if you're not allergic)
- 1/2 tablespoon of rose water ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌱 Simply combine all ingredients and store it in a bottle or glass jar - that easy! You can find all ingredients online or @hollandandbarret. Who's going to give it a try? #ecossentials
