Simply heat the jar in a microwave for 40 seconds. The jar then retains the heat so that you have plenty of ‘playtime’ to apply the product to the areas you wish to blitz. Then smooth the pliable paste onto skin using the spatula, and press the strips over the sugar, then whisk off the fabric strip to reveal ultra-smooth skin underneath. WILL I STILL GET IN-GROWN HAIRS WITH SUGAR COATED?

No you will not. Unlike most hair removal systems, Sugar Coated eliminates the risk of in-grown hairs, because regrowth will always be in its natural direction.

All the packaging is 100% recyclable. The vegan sugar wax is instantly biodegradable (it melts with warm water how amazing is that?) and can be disposed of down the drain without causing any harm to the water.

The non-woven strips are also sustainable as they can be washed and reused and won’t end up in landfills like most ready coated waxing strips.

Sugar Coated is the brainchild of Rosie Khandwala. Her story goes back to the shores of the Indian Ocean on the north-east coast of Tanzania. Growing up in Tanzania sugar waxing was the only form of hair removal she used. She learnt how to sugar wax from her mother and older sisters. Helping in her cousin’s salon after school as a teenager, she learned the tricks and techniques for the best and gentlest results. When she moved to the UK in 1987 with her young family, she wanted to start working as a mobile beauty therapist but to her amazement sugar waxing didn’t exist, she couldn’t find it anywhere, so she started making her own!
