Flax is one of the oldest textile fibers in the world. Since its arrival, it has always remained in Western Europe because the plant also proved to grow best here. Our temperate climate provides the ideal alternation of sun and rain for a large and strong plant. Because the longer and stronger the fiber, the better the quality of the linen.

In terms of ecology, linen is a champion. The plant requires no irrigation while growing and little to no plant protection products. The fiber is extracted by natural processes and all other parts of the plant are used to produce food, paper or insulation material, among other things. Spinning and weaving have little impact on the environment and again all residual materials are processed, there is no waste.
